About me

Husband, runner, traveller, marketing executive, former teacher, football nut - I'm all these things, but I'm also someone who usually likes to figure things out for myself.

I'm currently 28 years old, I've been married since May 2013 and in 2014 I embarked on the biggest adventure of my life: in March my wife and I both jetted off to Vietnam to teach English as a foreign language and to travel as much of the world as we could on a limited budget.

I started this blog to document my travels but I'm on the other side of the big adventure now. I'm back home to my beloved Bournemouth, back working in marketing (in a much better job that I'm actually happy in) and looking back on the greatest adventure of my life. I'll never stop wanting to travel, to explore, to experience the new, just my trips will now start and end at my very own home - which I've learned to appreciate the need to have one of your own. There was certainly a lot I figured out on my travels, but there's still a heck of a lot more for me to wrap my head round.

So come with me as I try to make sense of it all. What things do I need to figure out? Well there's a lot to get your head around in life and a big world out there to see, so read on and you'll see as I try to get my head round things as I continue my journey through life, throughout the world.

Who knows? Maybe we'll all learn something along the way....
